(ᴗᵔᴥᵔ) Eligibility:

This hackathon is built for Computing Science community of Simon Fraser University (SFU). However, non-SFU students are eligible to participate as long as at least 50% of the team is made up of SFU students.

(ᴗᵔᴥᵔ) Rules:

  • You may not begin working on your project before 9 AM PST on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. No work may be completed before this time.
  • Submissions after 8:30 PM PST on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 will not be accepted 
  • Plagiarism is not acceptable and teams with plagiarized work will be removed from the competition.

  • If AI-generated content or AI support was used, it must be mentioned in the README file, along with a description of how it was used

  • We do not tolerate any form of innapropriate behavior or harassment of hackathon participants.
  • Projects must not contain innapropraite content or imagery.

Hackathon participants violating these rules will be removed from the competition.

(ᴗᵔᴥᵔ) Teams:

Teams should have no more than 5 members; beyond that, organizing yourselves becomes a nightmare. You can work alone if you really want to, but you'll have a worse experience. Don’t worry if you don't have a team before the event, we help all the single people form teams. Non-SFU students are also allowed to participate as long as at least 50% of the team is made up of SFU students.

Teams do not need to be declared until project submission during the event.
